Personal Information Collection DieHard EMS never holds you credit card information on file. We at DieHard EMS believe that this is the safest way to handle your information. If you wish us to keep such information, please send it to us with a signed letter stating such to DieHard EMS, LLC DieHard EMS, LLC 75 Karen Lane, Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442, West Virginia . You will still have to input this information every time you purchase something – so there is really no point in sending it to us… unless you REALLY, REALLY want us to have it. We may also collect and record non-personal information regarding the types of products ordered on the site (how popular a certain item is), or information on how many times each page is viewed (how popular a certain Web page is). We may track the page you visited before coming to our site and the page you visit when you leave (hopefully something constructive…the web is not just for porn anymore). And we obtain certain types of technical information when your Web browser accesses www.diehardems.com such as your Internet protocol (IP) address and MAC address, the domain name and host from which you access the Internet and computer and connection information such as browser type and version and operating system. This webpage is best viewed with ANYTHING other than Internet Explorer…. Okay, not really, we just don't like IE. You are an important customer at DieHard EMS and your online ordering is highly valued. Your transaction takes place on the PayPal web servers which uses Verisign so you can trust that you are doing business with DieHard EMS. We protect the security of credit card and other sensitive information you provide online by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security software that encrypts such information. The security features are automatic. For example, once you've clicked the SUBMIT button on the Checkout page, your browser looks for a digital certificate to confirm that it is communicating with PayPal and DieHard EMS.com. Once a positive ID is made, your order continues. We use PayPal to enable the use of digital certificates. For your security, the verification process happens in the background every time you place an order on our site. Additionally, DieHard EMS server hosting employs industry standard firewall and anti-virus protection along with maintaining vendor security patches. We also utilize a 3rd party security scanning service to scan our web servers and web sites to assure we are up to industry standards in regard to patching and security configurations. Although DieHard EMS has implemented measures designed to secure personal information collected on our website from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. Shipping: DieHard EMS currently uses the United States Postal Service as our primary means of shipping. This saves you money by letting us keep our prices competetive. You will be sent a tracking number via e-mail once your order is processed and a shipping label is created. We try to do this within 2 business days. If something you ordered is out of stock, and needs to be ordered, we will let you know within 48 to 72 hours. Shipments usually arrive about a week after the order is processed. This depends primarily on how busy the post office is. Refunds: It is the policy of DieHard EMS to issue full refunds (including shipping charges), or merchandise replacements when the situation is warranted. This is of course decided by DieHard EMS personnel. It is our desire to be as fair as possible. We understand issues come up from time to time. Please be aware that if there is a question of quality, you may be asked/required to return the item(s) in question at your own expense. Requests for returns and/or replacements will be considered on a case by case basis. Do NOT return anything with the assumption that it will be blindly replaced or refunded. All refunds will be issued by check within 10 business days of refund approval - no exceptions. Links: We may provide links to third party web sites on the DieHard EMS site. These are sites that, AT THE TIME, we think are pretty cool and / or very informative. We are not responsible for the content or information collection practices of those pages.
